Gabor, Arnold (Budapest: 1888 - Hollywood: 17 Jul 1950): Baritone. Made his Metropolitan Opera debut as the night Watchman (9 Nov 1923) in Die Meistersinger. His last appearance there was on 17 Mar 1941 (Sergeant in Bohème). He was trained by Ritter von Merly and won first prize in a Vienna contest sponsored by Baron Rothschild.
