Two separate sets of Dresden theater postcards were produced that were similar in appearance. One set featured actors (for the Königliches Schauspielhaus) and the other featured opera personalities who appeared at the Hofoper. Circa 1897-1900. Published by Edgar Schmidt, Dresden. There was also a very similar set produced for the Vienna Opera. The Vienna set has no publishing marks.
